I began The Centsible Mama after I a slew of people requested that I show them how I save so much on groceries each week. I know the current economy has crunched many household budgets, and buying food is one of the biggest expenses besides your mortgage. I want to help as many people save money and stretch their dollars as I can-but my time is limited. And since many of you are moms, your time is limited too!

After some thinking about how I could reach as many people as possible in a short amount of time, it occured to me that a blog would be the best way to share deals, teach how to use coupons, and answer the many questions I have been asked about saving money. So, The Centsible Mama was created!

It is my goal to showcase local deals in the New Hampshire and Maine area. While there are many bargain websites, very few of them have deals that mention some of the grocery stores that are unique to our area. I also love to promote local small business, especially moms, so if you have a great deal, sale or customer special, please contact me!
